Adopting a site means making a long-term commitment to a chosen location, caring for it through regular clean-up and conservation efforts.
What makes this initiative genuinely different is who carries out the work. We employ people facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion. They clean, maintain, and monitor the adopted area.
For many, Green Guardians is the first chance in a long time to feel needed and valuable. Being outdoors and contributing to something meaningful has a real therapeutic effect. It restores self-esteem, supports mental health, and helps rebuild a sense of purpose.
